2015 NC Mt. State Fair
What a wonderful time with the family! Lauren, myself, Derrick, Katie and Chris pose for the cameraman (Rothey) with the Champion Long Wool Flock.
Katie and Lauren with the 1st place Shetland pairs--Cora and Caroline.
Champion Long Wool Ewe- Icelandic Peridot.
Katie with my big Icelandic ewe, Emory.
White Diamond, Icelandic ewe lamb and I. She was 1st in the ewe lamb class and 2nd in the fleece class.
Katie with the Reserve Champion Long Wool Ram, Flint.
Love how Flint stands! He was a great show animal. Now resides with his girls in Tennessee.
Big Daddy, Birmingham. Judge said he was a beautiful animal but she preferred the big curly wooled guy behind them.
Katie showing a really nice Shetland ram lamb. Judge was all about short, crimpy fleeces...unlike Granite's.
