Protective Shetland

 On April 7th, Katie found Cinderella with a newly born ewe lamb. Upon trying to take pictures...she hid her from me.

 No matter how hard I tried...she would move and hide her.

 This is a second time mom that is not a very friendly ewe.

 There she is...Hidaway Farms Topaz.

 "Really?"

Topaz is almost identical to her grandmother's ram lamb from the last post. I do believe this girl will end up being grey because she appears to have sugar lips.


More lambs were born a couple of hours ago. First time mom, Cora, delivered 2 ram lambs and is doing a great job!
